The legal agreement governing your use of Jarvis

IMPORTANT: By accessing and using Jarvis, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our platform.

1. Service Description

Jarvis ("Service") is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed to assist in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) implementation and governance. The Service provides:

  • AI-powered guidance for Salesforce FSC design and implementation
  • Document management and knowledge base functionality
  • Architecture decision tracking and governance support
  • Chat-based interaction for FSC-related queries
  • Integration with Salesforce orgs for contextual assistance

Jarvis does not directly modify your Salesforce org. All changes are made by users with appropriate permissions.

2. Use License and Restrictions

2.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Jarvis in accordance with these Terms.

2.2 Permitted Use

  • Use Jarvis for legitimate Salesforce FSC guidance and implementation support
  • Store documents and knowledge base entries for your organization
  • Export or backup your data
  • Share Jarvis output with your team and stakeholders

2.3 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Use Jarvis for illegal, unethical, or unauthorized purposes
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use Jarvis to harm, harass, or defame any person or organization
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Jarvis systems or customer data
  • Sell, resell, or redistribute Jarvis access without authorization
  • Use Jarvis to circumvent security controls or bypass restrictions
  • Submit malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Engage in denial-of-service attacks or excessive usage that disrupts service
  • Scrape or bulk download data for commercial purposes
  • Use Jarvis to develop competing services

2.4 Intellectual Property

All Jarvis content, features, and functionality are owned by Jarvis or its licensors. Jarvis is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your documents and knowledge base entries remain your property. You grant Jarvis a license to store and process them to provide the Service.

3. User Accounts and Credentials

3.1 Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all activities and transactions on your account
  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access
  • You are liable for all actions taken through your account

3.3 Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • You engage in illegal or harmful activities
  • You fail to pay applicable fees
  • We are required to do so by law

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Jarvis offers free access for initial onboarding and evaluation. Paid plans are available for organizations requiring advanced features. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice.

4.2 Billing

  • Fees are billed in advance based on your subscription plan
  • You authorize automatic charges to your payment method
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

4.3 Free Trial

Free trial periods do not require payment but may require a valid payment method. Your trial will convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4.4 Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not available for paid subscriptions. Exceptions may be made for service failures not attributable to customer actions. Contact support@jarvis.dev to request a refund.

5. Service Availability and Support

5.1 Availability

Jarvis aims for 99.5% uptime monthly. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, emergency updates, and unforeseen incidents may cause temporary unavailability.

5.2 Support

  • Free Tier: Community support via email (best effort, no SLA)
  • Paid Tiers: Priority support with defined response times
  • Critical Issues: 24/7 escalation available for paid customers

5.3 Maintenance

We perform scheduled maintenance on Sundays from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM UTC. We will notify you of any extended maintenance windows 7 days in advance.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

6.1 AS-IS Disclaimer

Jarvis is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components

6.2 AI Guidance Disclaimer

Jarvis provides AI-generated guidance and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI output may contain errors or outdated information
  • Jarvis guidance is informational only, not professional advice
  • You are responsible for validating recommendations
  • Consult with qualified professionals for critical decisions
  • Jarvis does not replace human judgment or expertise

6.3 Salesforce Integration Disclaimer

Jarvis is not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce. Jarvis does not modify your Salesforce org directly. All recommendations must be implemented through your own actions or with the assistance of qualified professionals.

6.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jarvis and its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Damages from reliance on Jarvis content or recommendations

Total liability of Jarvis shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Data and Content

7.1 Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to data you provide to Jarvis. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and use your data to provide the Service and improve our platform.

7.2 Backup and Recovery

While we maintain backups, you are responsible for backing up your own data. We are not liable for loss of data due to user error, account deletion, or other circumstances.

7.3 Data Deletion

Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer due to legal requirements or backup retention policies.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

8.1 Salesforce Integration

Jarvis integrates with Salesforce through publicly available APIs. Salesforce integration is subject to Salesforce's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Salesforce service availability or changes.

8.2 External Links

Jarvis may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Your use of external sites is governed by their own terms.

8.3 Third-Party Content

Jarvis may reference or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Salesforce documentation). We make no warranty about the accuracy or completeness of such content.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jarvis and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Jarvis
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Content you provide or upload
  • Your negligence or willful misconduct
  • Claims by third parties arising from your use of the Service

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notification on our platform. Your continued use of Jarvis after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through account settings or contacting support@jarvis.dev.

11.2 Termination by Jarvis

We may terminate or suspend your account for:

  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Non-payment of fees for 30 days after due date
  • Illegal or harmful activity
  • Excessive usage harming service availability

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to Jarvis is revoked. Surviving provisions (liability, indemnification, etc.) continue indefinitely.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Jarvis is established, excluding conflict of law principles.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where prohibited by law.

12.3 Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding Jarvis may be used by Jarvis without obligation to you. You grant Jarvis a perpetual, royalty-free license to use such feedback.
